  • Booths Grand Opening

Construction work on the new Booths store development is going well and on schedule for a grand opening in November this year. The new food store will have a net internal sales area of 33,468 sq ft and will include a Booths’ cafe at first floor level. The new building has a dramatic appearance and is already changing the face of Poulton town centre.

Creating an Attractive Public Space

Another stage of work has already begun to create a landscaped, attractive public realm between the entrance to Teanlowe Mall and the Teanlowe car park. This work will be carried out in five phases and is due for completion in July.

New Tenants at Teanlowe Shopping

Our agency team have been working hard on Booths’ behalf marketing the premises vacated by Cosy Corner Cafe and Food 4 Pets. We are pleased to announce that that terms have been agreed for a letting of the combined unit to an exciting household name, whose identity we hope to reveal shortly.

A New Road for Poulton – A County Council Project

Lancashire County Council is due to start work imminently on the creation of a new link road which will run through the Hardhorn car park, running one way from Hardhorn Road to Blackpool Old Road. The work is schedule to take 16 weeks and the Hardhorn car park will be closed for the first six weeks of this period.

At the same time improvements will be carried out to the roads around the town centre, namely Queensway, Tithebarn Street, Ball Street and Queen’s Square. These road works will improve the existing infrastructure, servicing and highway networks surrounding the new store.

In combination these works will provide a faster, more efficient route in and out of Poulton town centre, reducing congestion and improving air quality in Chapel Street in particular. A new bus lay-by is to be created on Blackpool Old Road.
