A local sporting goods company is expanding its business and has purchased new industrial premises in South Blackpool, reports commercial property consultants Robert Pinkus & Co.

Second Chance, sporting goods and golf specialists, are relocating from their current premises at Poulton Industrial Estate to a unit totalling 15,500 sq ft at the recently completed Piper Court, The Links at Blackpool Business Park, developed by Rok Developments. Robert Pinkus & Co. acted on behalf of the developers and Simon Lyons acted on behalf of Second Chance.

Second Chance have taken a total of four units at the development which will provide them with much needed additional storage and office space for their burgeoning company.

Patrick Daniels, Director at Second Chance said, “The requirement for larger premises has been a necessity for a while now and due to new contracts that were successfully secured at the end of last year we were desperate for the additional space to facilitate this extra activity. We have been looking extensively for the right property and these units at Piper Court fit the bill for us. The units provide us with a modern, attractive space in which we can expand and grow over the next few years and are looking forward to completing the move and trading in our new premises by 10th March.”

Danny Pinkus, Partner at Robert Pinkus & Co. said, “Second Chance are a great fit for the development at Piper Court. The popularity of the development is testament to the quality of the build and this was the final industrial building to be sold at the development.”
