Preston is driving home its cheaper rent advantage

Posted on 28th June 2007

Cheaper rents are attracting more businesses to relocate to Preston rather than the other North West cities according to Robert Pinkus & Co.

Preston links to major motorways and rail offer ideal opportunities for companies looking to relocate North West regional offices or head offices to the city, and the optimism and energy of Preston is proving to be a lucrative pull for investors.

One such office currently on the market is the former regional headquarters of the Halifax Bank of Scotland, located at the Pavilions on Riversway Docklands. It benefits from private parking for 72 vehicles, an open plan first floor level with cellular offices and meeting rooms, with training, conferencing, canteen and storage facilities on the ground floor.
