Pinkus Appointed Joint Agents on Morecambe Shopping Centre

Robert Pinkus & Co. is proud to announce that we have been appointed as joint letting agents on Morecambe’s Arndale Shopping Centre alongside national agents Colliers International.
The appointment comes at an exciting time as the shopping centre has recently received planning approval for an extension to the site for a mixed-use development comprising new retail space and a hotel. This will form the first phase of a wider strategy to improve the retail offer and enhance the public realm of Morecambe town centre.
Located in Morecambe’s central retail destination, the new development would create 760 sq m of new retail space over ground and mezzanine floors and 1,308 sq m of hotel accommodation over three upper floors. Leading budget hotel chain Travelodge has already committed to the project. Work is due to start on site in the next few weeks and is expected to open by Spring 2011.
