National Stockbrokers Invest in Blackpool Business Park

Posted on 18th January 2010

A nationwide firm of stockbrokers has snapped up new premises for their Blackpool office at a Blackpool Business Park.

Hargreave Hale Ltd. are moving part of their Blackpool operation to larger new premises at Neptune Court, Whitehills Business Park, from their existing offices at Springfield Road in Blackpool town centre where they have been located for over 40 years.

The firm which specialises in stockbroking and investment management have taken a total of 8,000 ft2 at Block Three, Neptune Court from developer Lanceshire Ltd. on a five year lease at an undisclosed sum. Construction of Block Three Neptune Court was recently completed to a high specification, giving the new tenants the opportunity to work with the developer and to finish the unit to fit their own design and unique internal requirements.

Hargreave Hale has six offices around the UK including London, Bangor, Carlisle, Worcester and Lancaster and employs 85 staff at its Blackpool branch. The new tenants commenced trading from their new home before Christmas, only eight weeks after first having viewed the property.

Stuart Brookes, Finance and Operations Director said, “We are excited about the move and looking forward to being part of the Neptune Court development and the wider Whitehills Business Park community. The property will provide us with much more space to expand and develop the business and having the luxury of designated parking outside of the front door will be a real bonus for both our staff.”

The scheme at Neptune Court has given us a great opportunity and the flexibility to work closely with developer Lanceshire on the internal design and layout of the property, creating bespoke offices that fit our needs specifically, which is not something that comes along very often, especially in the current market where there is very little speculative development being built at present.”

Two further units at Neptune Court, both offering 2,153 sq ft are still available to let, with quoting prices available through Robert Pinkus & Co. The Neptune Court development of individual office units are set within a landscaped setting and finished to a high specification including features such as suspended ceiling with Cat II recessed lighting, electric heating, open plan office layout, video/audio remote entry system option, fire alarm and network camera available to each access to occupier.

Neptune Court is accessed of the A583 and joins junction 4 of the M55. Lying south east of Blackpool town centre Whitehills Business Park is the rime commercial location in the area with immediate access to the whole of the Fylde coast and Preston via the M55. It is also close to B&Q Warehouse, Premier Inn Hotel and The Outside Inn Pub & Restaurant. Next Generation has acquired the adjoining plot to develop at health & fitness centre. Further details on available opportunities at Neptune Court can be found at www.pinkus.co.uk or by calling Danny Pinkus on 01772 769000.
