Mountain Warehouse Takes Retail Space at New Penrith Development

Posted on 16th December 2011

One of the UK’s leading outdoors clothing and equipment retailers has taken over 6,000 sq ft of retail space at a new development on Brunswick Road, Penrith.

Mountain Warehouse has taken 6,093 sq ft retail unit from Booths (Penrith) Ltd. on a 10 year lease at an undisclosed sum. Robert Pinkus & Co. acted on behalf of the landlord in the transaction.

The property lies adjacent to the new Booths Penrith store and car park which opened mid-November and a WCF Country Centre, and directly opposite a large newly refurbished Morrisons foodstore.

Claire Caunce, retail surveyor at Robert Pinkus & Co said, “We are delighted to welcome Mountain Warehouse to the new development as they offer a great complementary retail match for both Booths and WCF, the existing retailers on the site. Feedback from the local community and visitors to the new development has been very positive so far and we wish Mountain Warehouse every success in their new Penrith location.”
