The first phase of a £3.25 million scheme by Rok Development was launched in Blackpool recently. The Leader of Blackpool Council met with Rok on site at The Links, Blackpool Business Park to launch Piper Court, 25,000 sq ft of light industrial and warehousing space.

Welcoming the development as a ‘major boost’ for the town’s economy, Cllr Peter Callow said, “We should never loose sight of the achievement of Blackpool Business Park in creating a first class location for business growth with an excellent range of commercial and industrial property to suit the needs of small and medium sized businesses.  Piper Court is an excellent addition to the portfolio of business property now available in Blackpool that will help house a new generation of entrepreneurs and expanding businesses to help boost our local economy.”

Piper Court which is part of an 8.5 acres site, comprises seven highly specified light industrial business units ranging from 3,000 sq ft to 15,000 sq ft offering a wide degree of flexibility to owner-occupiers. Set in a terrace, the units deliver ample parking and yard space and offer eaves heights of 6 metres. Bespoke design and build opportunities are also available on the adjacent site which can accommodate a further 75,000 sq ft.
