Good News for Blackpool Retail Park

Following a letting to leading national bed retailer Bensons for Beds, Blackpool’s popular out-of-town Cherry Tree Road Retail Park is now trading at capacity reports Robert Pinkus & Co.

Bensons for Beds has taken the final 3,730 sq ft unit on the site from landlord’s Lakeland Holidays Ltd. for five years at an undisclosed sum. The new tenant joins other outlets such as Oakland Furniture, Dreams, Story Carpets and Carpetright who trade succesfully alongside a 24 hour Asda.

Claire Eccleston, retail surveyor at Robert Pinkus said, “Bensons for Beds is a very welcome addition to the Cherry Tree Road site which now offers a full and varied complement of furniture, lifestyle and homeware choices to the local community. We are pleased that the retail park is now full let, especially given the economic downturn, which  is testament to the strength of the park as a key retail destination for the local area.
