Former Depository Gains Planning Consent

Posted on 1st September 2008

Planning consent has now been granted for a former storage depository building that is up for sale in Blackpool town centre with Robert Pinkus & Co.

The site has recently obtained planning consent for the erection of 14 apartments on the site. At approximately 16,258 sq ft on a site of 0.25 acres, the former Shaw’s Depository building on Whitegate Drive presents an excellent location opposite Tesco Express, in a prominent position on one of the main routes into the town centre.

Currently, the brick built, three-storey former storage depository offers an enclosed yard and comes with its own semi-detached, three-bedroom house. The ground floor comprises a trade counter/sales area adjacent to full height drive-in loading entrance. Both upper floors provide clear storage accommodation, WCs and office facilities which are accessed via a staircase.
